Major warehouse fire in Germany

A major fire broke out in a warehouse in the industrial area in Tübingen-Hirschau. Tenants have stored various equipment in the hall: cars - including classic cars -, accessories, also solar panels. When the first forces of the fire department arrived on site, the hall was already ablaze, reports Tübingen's city fire chief Michael Oser. Seven departments with 14 vehicles and around 80 firefighters were deployed.

The firefighting robot LUF 60 of the Tübingen fire department supported the firefighters. After about an hour, the fire was under control, and the firefighters began post-extinguishing work. According to initial estimates of the police, the damage to the property values several hundred thousand euros.
