Inferno at factory in Thailand

Several LUF 60 deployed in inferno in Thailand

A massive fire at a factory producing plastic foam and granulate in Thailand resulted in an inferno. Emergency workers had to act quickly to prevent carcinogens and other hazardous substances released by the fire from reaching surrounding communities and residents.

The fire killed one rescue worker and injured at least 39 people - including 12 rescue workers - in the explosion and subsequent inferno at the factory site.

Emergency crews were on the job for more than 25 hours to extinguish the fire.
