LUF Camera Systems
LUF firefighting robots can be equipped with camera systems. For better navigation and for additional information during the operation, it is possible to mount thermal imaging cameras as well as color imaging cameras (wide angle) on the emergency vehicles. The video material is transmitted to the remote control of the vehicle operator up to a distance of up to 100m. The transmitted video material is shown on a 4.3" display on the remote control.
In total, up to 4 cameras can be used per firefighting robot/ remote control. By default, LUF recommends the manufacturer and model of the thermal imaging camera or color imaging camera (wide angle). Customers have the possibility to use their individual camera system, as long as it complies with the video standard/signal NTSC or PAL and is thus compatible with the technology used by LUF for video transmission.
