
Hanover in Germany: Depot with electric buses on fire
Millions of euros in damage and a large-scale firefighting operation in Hanover: A fire broke out in a bus depot of the Uestra public transport company on Saturday afternoon. Electric buses were also parked in the hall.
The fire department arrived with a large contingent including the firefighting robot LUF 60. The fourth of five alarm levels was triggered, said fire department spokesman Hartmut Meyer. According to initial information, no one was injured. By the afternoon, the fire was under control. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
